Mutya ng North Cotabato 2015 believes in peaceful dialogue

JEANEBETH B. Sedavia believes conflicts can be resolved if warring parties dialogue.

Because of this, the 19-year-old Accounting Technology graduate from the town of Midsayap was crowned the Mutya ng North Cotabato 2015 held at the Provincial Gym Wednesday night.

The final question was: “If you will be crowned the Mutya, what concrete program or action would you do to promote peace and unity among tri-People?”

Disagreements and conflicts, she said can be resolved through peaceful dialogues.

She also won the Miss Photogenic Award.

Other winners were Clarice Faith V.Tero of Kidapawan City, runner-up; Jeddah Rica Jickain of Pikit, 2nd runner-up; Jessa Pearl Lopez of Pigcawayan, 3rd runner-up;  and Venus Jhade Villavicencio of Magpet, 4th runner-up.

All the winners cereived cash prizes and trophies.

The Grand Coronation Night was hosted by the 2015 Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Indie film and Star Magic actor Aldrico Padilla.

The Board of Judges were composed of Bb.Pilipinas-International 2007 Nadia Lee Shami, Century Tuna Superbod 2015 1st runner-up Laurence Octavio Willen Tolenaars, International Model and Miss Philippine Airlines 2015 Kylie Versoza, GMA 7 lead actor for ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter’ teleserye Bryan Bennidect, and internationally renowned fashion designer Leo Almodal.

The star-studded Search for the Mutya ng North Cotabato 2015 was one of the highlights of the 101st founding anniversary of the Province of Cotabato and Kalivungan Festival 2015.

This year’s theme is “Sa Pagtutulungan at Pagkakaisa, Kapayapaa’y Matatamasa”.

In her special message, Cotabato Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza thanked her constituents for supporting her administration as she pushed for the delivery of services through the slogan “Serbisyong Totoo”.
